Artist of the Month

Abbey was chosen as the artist of the month this month at school. She was chosen out of all of the 3rd, 4th and 5th graders at her elementary school. She loves art class so she was pretty excited. We are so proud of Abbey earning this award. Although, I'm not too sure about the creepy theme!

This was the first year we could convince Abbey to play soccer. She subbed for Gracie's team last year and had a great time. I think this helped convince her to play this year. Abbey is really good at soccer and is very competitive. She has learned the rules and plays well with her teammates. She has had a great season so far.

Gracie had so much fun this year in soccer. She had to miss last week because she was really sick. She really hated to miss but is much better now. She has really improved and her team is a lot of fun to watch.

This was Lily's first year of soccer. We had to search high and low to find her a pair of soccer cleats to fit her tiny little feet. We did find some at a specialty shop. This pair was the smallest size they had and I think they are big enough that she will be able to wear them next year too! We're not sure how "into" it she was. She did, however, have a LOT of fun!
