Bugs!

Gracie had her Kindergarten play tonight at the elementary school. She was one of four fireflies. They all dressed in black leotards with skirts and wings. They all carried flashlights since they were fireflies! She did a great job and knew every word to every song! The performance was so cute!
Here is Gracie with some of the fireflies and an Army Ant

Girl Scout Father Daughter Dance

Abbey had her first father-daughter dance tonight. The dance was for girls and their dads. Here they are posing for me before the dance. They had a great time. Can't believe she's old enough for this stuff.

Softball Game

Abbey had her first softball game on Wednesday. It was strange because we are going from t-ball to softball this year and she is on an all girls team. She did a great job though. She had a couple hits and she was a great outfielder.

Abbey Mowing the yard

After watching Brandon mow the yard, Abbey wanted to try it too. The only problem was that she wasn't heavy enough to keep the mower going. So, her dad had to walk behind her. Kent did eventually get the yard mowed!!!

Brandon Mowing the Yard!

The girls wanted Brandon to come home with us after church. So, he did. We went out to eat in Bethany first and then we all came home and worked in our yard. Brandon wanted to ride the riding lawn mower and somehow Kent was convinced that Brandon had done it before (with the blades on). He just did a few strips. So, I snapped a few pictures while he was riding the mower. They had a fun day.

May Day Baskets

The girls and I made May Day baskets on Friday after school. They had lots of candy left from Easter that I wanted to get rid of. So, we just put all of that into all of their baskets that they made. Here they are posing with their baskets.

They also picked lilacs and other flowers from the yard to put in their baskets. They had fun making their baskets and taking them to everyone!

Our First Promenade

The girls and I went to the Promenade at the High School tonight. We were one of the last people there so we had to sit on the last row. They had fun looking at all the pretty dresses!
